If traveling abroad, AHD offers consultations about travel vaccine needs. AHD is an authorized Yellow Fever Center and can provide travelers with the Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination, which is required to enter some countries. Home Safety Assessments | This is a free service offered to residents. A member of the Health District staff will visit your home to determine if any safety concerns exist. Some of the items on the checklist include: lighting, flooring, footwear, fire protection, stairways, and water temperature. At the completion of the visit, the homeowner is given a copy of the completed home safety and risk assessment with the findings and any recommendations. |
