Travel Clinic

Aspetuck Health District offers a Travel Clinic for clients who require vaccination for travel abroad. Our nursing staff can provide consultations about travel vaccine needs. AHD is an authorized Yellow Fever Center and can provide travelers with the Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination, which is required to enter some countries. Malaria prescriptions are also available.

The vaccine fee schedule is linked below and prices are subject to change. Fees payable by cash, credit card or check. If an consultation is cancelled, the cancellation must be made within 24 hours, or an office visit charge will be issued. It’s best to get vaccines at least a month before your trip, so it’s important to book your appointment in advance.

Travel consultations are $75 per patient. Additional persons on the same itinerary, see at group visit is $40.

Some vaccines and prescriptions require a visit with our Advance Practice Registered Nurse.

How do I make an appointment?

  1. Plan ahead! It’s best to receive vaccines one month before your trip.
  2. Complete the Travel Visit Worksheet
  3. Fax the Travel Visit Worksheet to (203) 221-7199
  4. Once submitted, we will call you to schedule an appointment.
  5. Understand the visit and vaccine prices by vewing the fee schedule.
  6. Get copies of your vaccination records from your primary care provider.
