A dose of regular vaccine costs $50.00; the High Dose (recommended for ages 65+) costs $90.00
The WWHD accepts the following insurance:
Medicare, ConnectiCare, Cigna, Aetna, and HUSKY.
We also will accept pre-payments via credit card, check, or cash.
The Westport Weston Health District continues its over 30-year tradition of offering flu clinic vaccinations by offering the most protective flu vaccines currently on the market, given by experienced nurses. Studies have shown the high dose vaccine is safe and more effective for seniors than the regular vaccine, however, the Centers for Disease Control does not express a preference for any flu vaccine.
